If humor, desperation and the love of parenting got together after a few too many drinks in a bar, had irresponsible, unprotected sex and ended up pregnant, this would be the their bastard child.  I vow to truthfully share the the exhausting daily struggles of loving my children and to put words to the awesomeness of Mamahood.  This blog could serve as strength, motivation, insight, (sometimes, birth control) and will always be filled with humor and a few obscenities.  After my first son was born, I realized that being a Mama is not always that smiling picture in a magazine.  Mamas need each other to lean on, laugh and cry with and relate to.  That’s how we succeed.

I am a proud Mama of three smart, expressive, affectionate, life-loving boys.  I am wife to a thoughtful, humorous, kind man who is my biggest fan and the one person who knows all my secrets.  We live in a farm house in Charlotte, Vermont and love to play chase in the yard with glow sticks.

  2. Thanks for your encouragement regarding my blog yesterday. As an ex-con, I am learning that the 25 years I spent in prison is challenging me in ways I could never imagine. Because of reading your blog I can glean some things that can impact the way in which I view the future with my children. Blessings.
